Tuesday

The opening activity was interesting and fun. It showed how a mechanically correct paragraph can be made interesting while touching on some standards. I cant see how this activity could be gear toward K students! Well, maybe it could with using one sentence to start and have the K students add an adjective. or change the noun. and then progressive move to more sentences until you have a story. (three sentence story for K kids) OK, so it might be doable.
Hey, I MIGHT have a topic for my paper - finally.

Congrats on maybe finally having a topic. I know I feel much better even having just a few ideas now instead of nothing.

Great job Pam! I'm happy that you might have an idea for your paper!!! A good way to get this idea started is to play telephone and change the adjectives(DESCRIBING WORDS)
I actually use this changing and adding of words when I teach adjectives tomake them understand how it can make a sentence more interesting.
