Tuesday's comment.
I really liked the discussion on self-regulated learning. I am looking forward to learning more on this topic and how it relates to teaching special needs students. When we talked about teacher efficacy, I thought that "Who decides?"was a good question. It seems that it depends on the decision makers and has nothing to do with the progress students have made. I really liked the Hamburger Theory.

I thought the hamburger theory was cool too. I totally agree with the "Who decides". I teach spe. ed and the scores are always low, but I don't think that should make me a bad teacher.. Sometimes it's hard to not let the "standards" bother you. Amy
Very good, Bonnie! Your comment is very insightful. I think you will do a great job incorporating self-regulated learning with your third graders this year. Also, go hamburger!
How could I forget the "Hamburger Theory?" I found that to be a useful, fun tool. I plan to use it in my classroom.
